Ever since I graduated high school, I always had a passion for cultivating and teaching kids! While I initially had aspirations to be a primary/junior teacher, God had other plans for me. Looking at my past experiences in children’s ministry, and teaching experiences in my teacher’s college internship, I soon realized that God was going to use this passion of mine in a way that was different than what I expected. While spending some time in South Korea, through my church community, he made it clear that I was going to use my aspirations of teaching and educating kids in the context of pastoral ministry!
God led me in unexpected ways.
自從我高中畢業後，我就一直熱衷於培養和教育小孩！ 雖然我最初渴望成為一名小學一教師，但神對我有其它計劃。回顧我過去在兒童事工中的經歷，以及在師範學院實習時的教學經歷，我很快意識到上帝會以用一種與我預期不同的方式來使用我的這種熱情。 在韓國待了一段時間後，透過我的教會社群，祂明確表示我將在教牧事工的背景下運用我教導和教育孩子的願望！

我們對兒童事工的願景是要裝備和鼓勵家庭成員開始彼此的屬靈對話！
我們試圖透過在每一個星期日來提供一些創造性和互動的主日學來做到這一點。 我們也意識到有時孩子們可能會對聖經有疑問！ 我們教會有一個 Youutube 頻道叫做 “Kid’s corner”（兒童角落），余傳道會把孩子們對聖經提出的問題，通過視頻的形式進行解答。

We seek to do this by providing a creative and interactive Sunday school each given Sunday. We also realize that at times kids may have questions about the bible! Our church has a Youtube channel called “Kid’s corner” where pastor Mike Yu takes the questions that kids may have about the bible, and answers it through a video format.
